Frank Kimsey, MD, FACR

Dr. Frank Charles Kimsey received his Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and Psychology from Emory University in 1985. He went on to medical school at the University of Tennessee, graduating in 1989. Dr. Kimsey then completed his residency in 1994 at the University of Florida’s Shands Cancer Center and received his American Board of Radiology certificate shortly thereafter in 1995. 

Since the beginning of his career, Dr. Kimsey has focused on bringing top quality radiation treatment to the Chattanooga area. He is consistently investing in and implementing cutting edge treatment procedures and technology.  These procedures aim to not only raise success rates, but to also lessen the heavy toll that treatment often causes.

Throughout his 30+ year career as a physician, Dr. Kimsey has been a board member for various medical society organizations such as the American Cancer Society. He served as Medical Director of the Erlanger Department of Radiation Oncology and as the Chairman of the Memorial Health System Radiation Oncology Department. He has also served as a counselor for the American College of Radiology, the president of the Tennessee Radiological Society, and co-chairman of the Radiation Safety Committee at Memorial Hospital.

In addition to leadership positions, Dr. Kimsey has been invited on numerous occasions to give seminars on his work around the world for various organizations, such as the International Stereotactic Radiosurgical Society and the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology. He is also a board member and one of the driving forces behind the Chattanooga Tumor Clinic: a nonprofit multidisciplinary clinic that provides cancer services to impoverished patients in the Chattanooga area.

Brittany Cannon, PA

Brittany Cannon received her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Administration from East Tennessee State University. She went on to receive her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Long island University. Brittany is a nationally certified Physician Assistant with a specialty in Radiation Oncology which she received from the National Commission for Certification of Physical Assistants. She is also a member of of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

For over 6 years, Brittany has been a practicing Physician Assistant and has committed herself to providing outstanding care to each and very patient she sees.
